Purealizer Receives “DentoShield”™ Trademark from US Patent and Trademark Office (“USPTO”)
Purealizer Industries, a US manufacturer for indoor air purification systems, is pleased to announce it has received a Notice of Acceptance from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (“USPTO”) for the trademark “DentoShield”. The trademark covers the following product category: Air cleaning units containing an air filter, ultraviolet lights and a photocatalytic filter; air purifiers; air purifying apparatus and machines; air purifying units for commercial use, namely, dental offices use; disinfectant apparatus for medical purposes.
“We have always found considerable value in our intellectual property as we build our brands for air purification products which underlines the Company’s ongoing commitment to protect its innovations and brands for future growth, said Michael Smith, Purealizer CEO. The DentoShield combines a medical grade filter along with UV light to help capture and destroy 99.9% of microorganisms, bacteria, and viruses in the air. The air inside a typical dentist’s office with should be constantly cleaned at least every 4-6 times per hour to maintain clean air.
The UVGI system is installed in a recessed ceiling where it captures then filters aerosolized droplets which accumulate towards the ceiling. The installation of the DentoShield air purifier will help reduce the chance of the virus spreading is essential as an extra layer of protection for patients and the staff. Studies have shown the Omicron variant is many times more transmissible than the initial COVID virus when it first entered our country. This is a serious problem in a dental office where any work on someone is usually accompanied by aerosolized droplets.
“We believe our system is ideally suited for dental practices based on data how pathogens are spread and move towards the ceiling which is where our system is installed to capture and filter the air,” said Smith.
